The hull laminate is single skin using polyester resin and multiaxial fibres with E-glass. The sides are built using closed-foam as the core material. The gel coat and first layers are in isophtalic resin as protection against osmosis.
The protective keel is filled with resin and microbaloons .
Structure: single skin laminate over plywood or foam core, metal inserts in way of engine mounts. Stringers under engine mounts filled with microbaloons+resin for better insulation of vibrations and noise.
Deck and flybridge: closed-foam cored sandwich, felt-core sandwich and single skin laminate using mat and multiaxial fibres in E-glass. Plywood or aluminium inserts under gear.
Hull/deck joint mechanically and chemically bonded.
The structural bulkheads are in marine plywood and foam core (8 mm /15 foam /8 mm) to obtain a rigid and light structure.
The structural bulkheads finish is varnish or artificial leather to suit the inner decorative accent.
The woodwork is installed as modules to the structure (secondary bonding and gluing) and does not participate in structural calculations. |
